The American Revolution Center at Valley Forge will be the place where the spirit of the American Revolution lives. It will be the first museum dedicated to interpreting, honoring and celebrating the complete story of the entire American Revolution. The lives of the gender and ethnically diverse people who created the United States will be explored using the Center’s extraordinary collection of objects from the period of the American Revolution.
A broad array of engaging outdoor and indoor experiences will occur throughout the Center’s privately held, 78-acre site at Valley Forge. Iconic American architect Robert A.M. Stern has designed a critically acclaimed and environmentally sensitive building. Renowned exhibit designers are working with Center curators to create dynamic experiences that will educate and inspire people about the sacrifices of those who served and the ongoing responsibility we share to perpetuate and maintain the freedoms we have inherited from our patriot forbearers.

The Lower Providence Board of Supervisors on June 23
voted to grant preliminary approval to the American Revolution Center’s land development plans. The vote enables the Center to refine its plans and studies in accordance with the land development ordinances.
We look forward to continuing to work with the community to build this much-needed museum and education center.
