Set on 78 acres in Valley Forge, The American Revolution Center will soon bring to life our birth as a nation, the beginning of our freedoms and our independence. Within this cultural center, there will be a thousand stories, the stories and ideals of the generation that defined what it means to be an American.

Here we will learn how we came to be who we are as a nation, and what has given us the strength through more than 200 years to lead the world in resisting tyranny and oppression.

The American Revolution Center at Valley Forge received preliminary approval for its Preliminary Land Development Plans and Final Land Development approval for an 1100 square foot Trailhead Building to be built on its 78 acre site. Groundbreaking for the Trailhead Building is scheduled for early spring 2009. The vote by the Supervisors followed unanimous votes earlier this year by the Township’s Planning Commission in favor of building the museum on the Center’s 78 acres of land in Lower Providence.
