Adrian R. King , Secretary
Adrian R. King, Jr. is a partner at the national law firm Ballard Spahr LLP. He is Practice Leader of the firm's Government Relations, Regulatory Affairs and Contracting Group. Mr. King focuses his practice on general business and corporate law, government relations, regulatory affairs, government contracting, gaming and matters before state attorneys general. He regularly represents clients before federal, state and local executive branch and administrative agencies. Over the years, Mr. King has served the public in several high-level roles within Pennsylvania state government, including First Deputy Attorney General (2013-2014), Director of the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency (2005), and Deputy Chief of Staff to Pennsylvania Governor Edward G. Rendell, where he oversaw the Commonwealth's public safety and homeland security functions (2003-2004). Mr. King is the recipient of the Pennsylvania Meritorious Service Medal, and the National Guard Association of the United States’ Patrick Henry Award. Mr. King is a graduate of Columbia University and the Temple University School of Law (cum laude).
